Why I Started This Journey and Why Relationships Matter

In 2002, I emerged from a deep depression, an experience that profoundly shaped my understanding of human emotions and connections. Determined to help others navigate their own struggles, I pursued a Master’s in Counselling and, since 2013, have dedicated my private practice to guiding individuals, couples, and families toward healthier relationships.

Over the years, working with children, teenagers, and adults from all walks of life, I observed how childhood experiences deeply influence adult behaviors in relationships. Many struggles stem from unresolved patterns formed early in life, making relationships complex and often misunderstood.

Now, as I pursue my doctoral studies in psychology, specializing in adult relationships and behaviors, I see an urgent need for greater awareness. This realization led me to create SAFER— a space where people can understand the dynamics of relationships, heal, and build stronger, safer, and more fulfilling connections in both personal and professional life.
